The Samiti has its mission of holistic development of rural and urban communities of the poor and marginalized, particularly women, to have their equal access to educational, social and economic opportunities, irrespective of gender, class, creed, caste and faith.
OBJECTIVES :
Our Samiti firmly believes in empowering people through development of their inner potentials. It is trying to follow earnestly the sayings of our great teacher Vivekananda, “Education is the manifestation of perfection, which is already in a man”.
The conception of extension to the Samiti is to work with the people, specially with the deprived sections, on a long term basis, inspiring them to get rid of ‘culture of silence’ and sharing with them the knowledge, attitude and skill, which we have acquired from the society. The Samiti is working for their all round development, as nicely narrated by Gandhiji, development of 3H’s, i.e. Head, Heart and Hand.
